Paladin's Grace

It goes live tomorrow! It's a book! Angsty paladin romance set in the world of the Temple of the White Rat. Severed heads! Pining! Legal wrangling!

(oh god oh god I swear I fixed the duplication of the last line days ago but what if it didn't go through what if Amazon sends out a horribly mangled document that destroys my life forever oh god oh god I'M FINE IT'S ALL FINE THIS IS WHY SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHORS ARE NERVOUS SOULS)

Amazon, Patreon, and wherever fine ebooks are sold, except Google because they're weird.

Fear not - if Amazon sends out a horribly mangled document, your fans will go "Oooo, how interesting!" and it will join the Notorious Stoat Incident in the annals of 'were you there when?' Someday, fans may pass around copies, carefully preserved off-line, the way stamp collectors trade rare mis-prints.

Yay book! Congratulations!

And yay Zale! I'm looking forward to more angsty paladins and other, practical people stomping around demanding the world be more reasonable.

Honestly, by the time I'm done fiddling with everything in Kindle publishing I'm just like "thank the gods it's DONE!" :P

I'm sure you'll be fine. ;)

I probably can't do anything about it (I work there, but that doesn't mean people in other departments listen to me), but: In what way is Google weird?

(I usually end up reading your books on Google books anyway; download from Patreon, upload to Google. But I wouldn't mind you being able to sell them there too.)

Just finished reading it, and really enjoyed it, thank you. ^_^

The kindle file I had had the last line duplicated, but it didn't bother me much, I just went "Huh, copywriting error. Maybe it was that weird overzealous comma-stealing new copywriting editor Shep was talking about on twitter who messed it up."

I'm trying to do two days of stuff today so I can read it all the way through without guilt. (I'll read it all the way through whether or no, obvs.)

Read it, loved it, was deeply amused by the "it was meant to be the sequel to Swordheart *but*" in the acknowledgements :)

Snapped up first thing this morning before I went to work. Then I spent ALL DAY at work knowing that this book was waiting for me, alone and unread.

I am utterly loving this book. I uh... have a habit of knitting socks while listening to audiobooks. Yes, I punched the air a few times in the first third of it (not yet done).
